Faith is rock

Faith is Rock features Greek Orthodox monks in a monastery north of Athens who, when not praying and meditating, perform rock concerts, sign autographs, release CDs and shoot music videos. Against all Orthodox conventions, they rack up platinum records, acquire international fame shaking the Church’s foundations and stirring Greek society. The film offers an intimate portrait of their double life, as devout monks and rock stars.
