Marianna Economou is an awardwinning Greek documentary filmmaker and producer. With a background in Anthropology and Photojournalism, she draws on intimate personal narratives to explore broader social, environmental, political, and cultural themes. Her compelling, universally resonant films inspire reflection, empathy and engagement with the world around us. Her documentaries have been screened worldwide and earned awards at international festivals. || •When Tomatoes Met Wagner— World premiere: Berlinale. Oscar contender (Foreign Language Film).
