Bells, Threads & Miracles

Sometimes the need to believe in miracles outweighs religious labels. Each year thousands of Muslim pilgrims visit the Monastery of St. George on Prince’s island, off Istanbul’s coast, to pray before Christian icons and ask the Saint for favours. Through striking visuals and intimate stories of both Muslims and Christians, the film reveals how the human desire for miracles can overcome cultural, political and religious divides.
